  • Teamster Members Give Back to the Community During the Holidays
    Posted On: Dec 17, 2020
Holidays are a busy time for everyone and a good reminder to be thankful for everything we have. As a labor movement, we pride ourselves in giving back to our community. Our Local had the awesome opportunity to give back to the community this Holiday Season by supporting the Lehigh Valley Labor Councils' toy drive benefiting Roosevelt Elementary School and supporting Family Connection of Easton's Stuff the Bus event. We thank all of the union members who helped with these events; your hard work and dedication are appreciated.
Business Agent Mark Laubach attended the event at Roosevelt Elementary School and said, "It was an uplifting experience to see labor unions coming together behind the Lehigh Valley Labor Councils toy drive. As Teamsters, we were able to provide families with toys for their children for the holidays. We truly are stronger when we stand united and support each other."
"As a bus driver of the Easton Area School District, we see first hand the struggles some students and their families are experiencing at this time of year. With the help of our union Teamsters Local 773, we were able to volunteer our time and deliver over 75 toys," stated Trustee Helen Jones, who attended the Stuff the Bus event.

Check out the photos of both events in our Main Gallery.
